Your Donation Impact 

Your donation enables the Holocene Project to work toward a safe global future within planetary boundaries for climate at 1° C by developing open-source, unprecedented energy transition models, identifying negative-emission solutions, and providing freely accessible data. Based on socioeconomic analysis and by boosting collaboration with the scientific community and politicians, and cooperating with institutions in each region, the project will provide guidance for fine-tuning these models and implementing a just transition in all regions of the world. 

All donations to the Holocene Project are managed by the International Giving Foundation.

The International Giving Foundation was founded in Germany by the Donors’ Association (German: Stifterverband) for the Promotion of Humanities and Sciences. The Donors’ Association was established in 1920 as a joint initiative of the German economy and advocates the sustainable improvement of education, science, and research. It manages 680 foundations with total assets of over €3.1 billion.
